Can I return or exchange my blanket?

Since each blanket is lovingly handmade to order just for you, all sales are final. We start crafting your unique piece as soon as you place your order, which means we can't accept returns or exchanges.

However, we're confident you'll absolutely love your blanket! We use only the highest quality materials and each piece goes through careful quality checks before shipping. If you have any concerns about sizing or colors before ordering, please don't hesitate to reach out – we're happy to help you make the perfect choice!

What if I received a damaged item?

Oh no! We're so sorry if your blanket arrived with any issues. Your satisfaction is incredibly important to us, and we'll make this right immediately.

Please email us at hello@blanketbarnco.com with your order number and a few photos showing the damage. We'll review your case right away and either send you a replacement or provide a full refund – whatever works best for you. We typically respond within 24 hours, and we'll handle all the details to ensure you get the perfect blanket you ordered.

How long does it take to receive my order?

Since we handcraft each piece specifically for you (no mass production here!), timing depends on which beautiful blanket you've chosen:

Chenille blankets: 2–5 business days to craft, plus shipping time
Merino wool blankets: 10–14 business days (these luxurious pieces take a bit more time, and occasionally depend on yarn availability)

Once your blanket is complete, we'll send you tracking information so you can follow its journey to your door. Standard shipping typically takes 3-5 business days within the UK, and we also offer express options at checkout if you need your cozy blanket sooner!

Care & Maintenance

How do I properly care for my yarn products?

Taking care of your handmade blanket is easier than you might think! Here are our care recommendations to keep your blanket beautiful for years to come:

For Chenille:

• Machine wash on gentle cycle with cold water
• Tumble dry on low heat or air dry
• These beauties are surprisingly low-maintenance!

For Merino Wool:

• Hand wash in cool water with wool-specific detergent
• Gently squeeze out excess water (never wring!)
• Lay flat to dry
• Your merino blanket will actually become softer with each wash
